North United Methodist Church is an inclusive and reconciling community. We welcome all regardless of race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, domestic or marital status, physical or mental ability, economic status, political affiliation, faith history, education and all other ways in which we are human.
If you are looking for a church that will accept you as you are, then give us a try. If you want to discover God’s calling for your life and deepen your faith in Christ, then join us. We are committed to following Jesus Christ and embracing all people with the love of God. What you will find at North is a spiritual community where you can explore your questions of faith and engage in God’s work of justice and mercy.
As United Methodists, we share basic affirmations of faith that Christians around the world and throughout the ages have expressed in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. As members of the Wesleyan tradition which began in England in the 18th century, we believe in God’s grace in Jesus Christ as the source of forgiveness, healing, and empowerment for our lives. Our heritage emphasizes putting faith into practice through works of mercy, justice, and peace. We celebrate our life together in the Holy Spirit through the practice of baptism for all ages and communion for all who come in faith.

Our purpose is to invite, support, and encourage all people to become deeply committed Christians. As followers of Christ, we emphasize God’s love for all people, the intersection of spirituality and justice, and the calling to make a difference in the world.
